South Bank Expands with Two New Waterfront Developments in Turks & Caicos

Windward– the visionary team behind South Bank, Turks & Caicos’ newest luxury residential resort– has expanded the community beyond its original four distinctive neighborhoods with the addition of two exceptional new waterfront developments. One of them, Niva, is surrounded by water, with the Caicos Bank to the south and Juba Sound to the north, and features six private island retreats offering full access to resort amenities. The Beach Villas feature five bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a media room, and an elevator from the garage servicing all floors up to the rooftop. Residences have access to the terrace, which features a wet bar and covered dining area, a private spa terrace with hot tub, daybed, and massage table, and an infinity pool with integrated sunken firepit seating.

As South Bank continues to redefine waterfront living, the Caribbean’s luxury evolution doesn’t stop there. Speaking of oceanfront opulence, Mandarin Oriental is rewriting the rules of coastal living—with curves.

Mandarin Oriental Grand Cayman Unveils Ocean House Designed by AW2

Mandarin Oriental already made waves in Grand Cayman with the hotel brand’s first-ever new build resort and residences in the Caribbean, and now they’ve unveiled new designs by Paris-based architecture firm AW2. Perched atop a dramatic ocean cliff, the Ocean House Residences will offer unmatched privacy with a sleek, curvaceous façade and private wraparound terraces that beautifully blend indoor and outdoor living. “Every detail of Ocean House was designed to create a seamless harmony between the natural landscape and refined luxury,” said Reda Amalou, Founder and Partner of AW2. “The curves and expansive terraces, as well as the use of organic materials, reflect our vision of blending contemporary elegance with the breathtaking surroundings of Grand Cayman, creating a sense of harmony throughout the lived experience of the Ocean House.”

From Grand Cayman’s organic elegance to the UAE’s bold new blueprint, another design legend is making waves.

The World's First Giorgio Armani-Branded Villas Are Coming to the U.A.E.

With the rise of luxury brand-residences, Giorgio Armani has hopped on the bandwagon to announce the first Armani-branded beach villas in the world. Partnering with RAK properties and SIE Group for the development, the Armani Beach Residences Ras Al Khaimah will be nestled along on Raha Island and offer a slew of luxury amenities. “New projects related to living fascinate me because I can bring the way of thinking of haute couture, that is, the use of precious materials and unique, tailored creations, into the space where we live,” Giorgio Armani said in a statement. “The villas developed in collaboration with RAK Properties, a true excellence in the sector, represent an important milestone in this journey and are even more significant because they are designed to integrate into the evocative surrounding marine landscape, offering a unique lifestyle experience.”

And with that, once again it’s clear: luxury isn’t just expanding—it’s evolving, one breathtaking address at a time.
